Baba Suwe' yet to excrete any substance 48 hours after arrest

Popular Yoruba actor Omidina Babatunde (alias Baba Suwe) is yet to excrete the substance he allegedly ingested about 48 hours after his arrest by the NDLEA.

This was contained in a statement signed by Mr Mitchell Ofoyeju, Head, Public Affairs of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), on Friday in Lagos.
The statement said `Baba Suwe,' tested positive to drug ingestion and had been placed under observation.
"There is reasonable ground for his suspicion and the actor is currently under observation. He is fine and has been eating, but he is yet to excrete.
"The Agency's doctors have also been invited to examine him and he is co-operating with narcotic investigators," the statement quoted Ofoyeju as saying.
The statement said that preliminary findings showed that the actor was to act as a Master of Ceremony for the naming ceremony of his friend's daughter in Paris, France.
It added that the actor would remain under observation, while further up-dates on the matter would be made known to the general public.
The actor was arrested during boarding for an Air France flight to Paris at about 10 p.m. on Wednesday at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
